Captain David Baines
Managing Director

David has been flying for 25 years and commercially for 21 years. During that time he has accumulated over 10,000 accident free flying hours.

He is both rotary and fixed wing qualified and holds both JAA and FAA ATP licenses for both classes of aircraft. David has flown many types including the B757, B767, B747, F900EX, F900B, F50EX, HS125, Be40, EC135, MD902, AS355, S76, A109S. He has gained a broad experience base including flying offshore IFR helicopters in support the oil and gas industry, police air support operations to VVIP corporate flying and both long and short haul scheduled operations. He has been involved for many years in the line training of other pilots and is a CRMI. In addition he has held the position of Chief Pilot for several corporate flight departments and was more recently pivotal in the set up and running of a JAR-OPS3 AOC.

Captain Paul Henderson
Director of Flight Operations

Despite gaining a degree in Economics, flying was what Paul always dreamed of doing as a career. He has now been flying for over 30 years. He has accumulated over 10,000 accident free flying hours gained flying all over the world.

He holds both JAA and FAA ATPLs and although having flown predominantly fixed wing aircraft, does hold a Private Pilots Licence on helicopters. His previous flying experience included flight training and freight operations before he moved into the world of corporate aviation. Paul was pivotal in placing the first Citation X on to a UK AOC and spent three years operating “the Ten” all over the world. Paul has flown many types including B206, PA31, C421, Be90, Be40, C500/550/560, C56X (Excel), C750 (Citation X), Falcon 200, F900B, F900EX, F50EX.

Captain Stefan Bierbaum
Training Manager

Stefan has over 18,000 worldwide flying hours and brings a wealth of training experience. He held the position of Crew Training Manager for both Tyrolean and Air Alps back in his home country of Austria.

He is currently a TRI/TRE on the Falcon 50/900 series of aircraft. Stefan holds both a JAA and FAA ATP licence. He has been flying since 1985 and commercially since 1989. In that time he has flown a variety of types including the Dornier 328, Dash 8 and the Falcon 50/900EX. In his spare time Stefan is a mountain flying instructor and enjoys flying his own Maule into some of the tightest farm strips you will find in the Alpine region, both on grass and the snow.

Robin Thurston Jones
Continued Airworthiness Manager

Robin is a highly respected and licenced aircraft engineer bringing with him 25 years experience.

During this time he has held Quality Manager and Continued Airworthiness Manager positions within maintenance organizations, Senior Station Engineer for a UK based regional airline and Continued Airworthiness Manager for two high profile AOC operators of executive aircraft, including the first Dassault Falcon 7X registered and operated on a UK AOC. He is the holder of an EASA Part 66B1 / C aircraft maintenance license issued by the United kingdom CAA, with type ratings on the Bombardier Learjet 40 / 45, Cessna 500 / 550 / 560, Challenger 300 / 604 / 605, Dassault Falcon 50 / 50EX / 900B / 900EX / 200EX EASy, Dornier 328-110, Hawker 400XP, Hawker 900XP, BAe Jetstream 31 / 32 / 41. In addition Robin holds an Airframe & Powerplant license issued by the FAA.

SFO Gregor Ramsay
Flight Safety and Security Officer

Gregor started his flying career after having worked for 5 years as a Police Officer for the Strathclyde Constabulary. During his time as a Police Officer Gregor was involved in security and close protection. On leaving the Police to follow a career in aviation, his first job was flying the Pilatus PC12 around Europe, including flying into the Courcheval altiport.

In the 9 years since then, Gregor has gained nearly 3000 hours on various types including the Citation 525, Hawker 400XP and Falcon 50EX. He has flown extensively around Europe and has experience in flying in the Far East, Middle East, Russia and the former Eastern Block countries as well as the United States, Canada and Mexico. Gregor also holds both a JAA Airline Transport Pilots Licence and an FAA Airline Transport Pilot’s Licence.
